Sold in a pack of 3, The soft abrasive block is excellent at quickly removing any cooked on fat or dirt and will even quickly remove light scratches from the grained stainless surfaces. It is important to use it in the grain direction only to avoid damaging the stainless finish. Highly recommended for light scratches and heavy duty dirt removal. Note that these blocks can only be used on cool surfaces and are generally single, or a few uses only before wearing out.

FAB!

Oh my goodness, these things are great! Saw them on the EH owners Facebook page with advice on how to use. I was starting to get a little embarrassed about the state of my hotplates surrounds after 18 months of constant use (and, I confess, not a lot of cleaning... well none really if I'm honest) - not any more! With very little effort on my part, it all looks as good as new again! Even got a few heat marks out from the hob lids. I would recommend buying a couple of packs (I have a 150) - if you have a smaller one then 1 pack will be enough.

Great for removing stains and marks

We had a stain on the top of the brushed stainless steel lid on our Everhot. Nothing shifted it until we got this block. Perfect for removing stains, marks and baked on grime. Use it WITH the grain and on cool surfaces.

Good but pricey

I used one of these blocks for the first time today. Once my Everhot was cool enough I worked my way through the grime and grease. Sanding away at the metal seems odd but does yield good results. Carefully using the blocks dry in the direction of the grain and then wiping down with hot water and an e-cloth was the way I used these. Elbow grease and effort are still required, not a miracle cure to a spotless Everhot in my opinion.
