Our top Christmas cooking (and baking!) essentials for your range cooker

Are you missing that vital pot, pan, or tray in order to get the most out of the space in your Everhot range cooker? With at least two huge ovens, a grill, a hot and simmer plate, and possibly also an induction hob, your Everhot range cooker can cater for all at Christmas time. Its flexibility and size means it’s capable of handling multiple dishes at once, so you can roast, bake, boil, simmer and slow cook all at the same time.

So here’s our list of the top ten cooking and baking essentials we think you need this Christmas to make your Christmas Dinner as stress free and enjoyable as possible. After all, you bought the Everhot to enjoy cooking.

An extra large version of our Everhot Roasting Tray

What to cook the turkey in

This is an extra large version of our Everhot Roasting Tray – which you receive when you order your Everhot Cooker. This bigger tray measures 41cm x 29cm x 5cm deep, making it perfect for a large turkey. Particularly hard wearing, it allows the use of metal utensils. It can be taken from the oven and placed on the hot plate to make the gravy.

What to bake the mince pies in

An absolute staple of the Christmas festivities, this non-stick bun tin fits homemade mince pies perfectly. You can fit 12 mince pies inside this tray which is made from high grade steel.

What to make the Chocolate Log in

A delight for children and adults alike, and for those who shy away from the festive fruit based puddings, you can’t go wrong with a chocolate roulade. This shallow larger baking tray allows even baking for a flat sponge.

What to bake the Christmas biscuits on

The beauty of this baking tray is that it fits on the runners of your Everhot oven so you don’t take up shelf space when trying to bake or cook multiple things at once. This lightweight yet hard wearing tray is resistant to abrasion and promises even, efficient baking.

What to cook the blinis on

Did you know you can cook directly on the simmer plate of your Everhot? One of the best things to make this way are cocktail blinis perfect for pre-Christmas dinner nibbles. Top them with smoked salmon and cream cheese. You may want to invest in some Cook-a-Sheet which can be placed on the simmer plate up to 260 degrees to keep it clean.

What to prepare the vegetables in

This beautiful three pan set from British company, Stellar, is made from high quality stainless steel and features draining lips for ease of use. Their encapsulated bases produce even cooking results and work on the Everhot induction hob as well as the hot and simmer plates.

What to bake the Christmas pudding in

A perfect pudding basin for your Christmas pudding. Available in 1.3 pint (0.7 litre) and 2 pint sizes (1.2 litre) depending on how many mouths you have to feed! A simple classic design that’s also dishwasher safe.

What to serve the gravy in

Available in quarter pint (200ml) and whole pint (500ml) size depending on the number of guests, this pretty fluted porcelain jug is ideal for pouring turkey gravy and can be warmed in the oven beforehand and thrown into the dishwasher afterwards.

What to simmer the turkey bones in to make stock

One of the largest of our saucepans, the 24cm Zwilling Stock Pot has a six litre capacity and can be used on the hot plates or popped into the oven. We recommend the bottom simmering oven of your Everhot for turning turkey bones into delicious stock.

What to make the Mulled Wine in

A festive staple to serve friends and family, mulled wine is about as Christmas as it comes. This high quality stainless steel saucepan is oven and dishwasher safe, with a 3 litre capacity so you can invite the neighbours over as well!
